Tolling of the Boats – End of Batfish Reunion Week

Tolling of the Boats at the Muskogee War Memorial Park: home of the USS Batfish

On May 14 th at 11am the United States Submarine Veterans Incorporated will be hosting the Tolling of the Boats, an event that culminates our Batfish Reunion week. The event honors each of the 52 submarines lost during the war by calling out the submarine’s name and tolling the bell in their memory. Following the announcement, the Sub Vets will place a flag on the podium dedicated to those on eternal patrol.

The Tolling of the Boats is completely free, but donations are encouraged. Additionally, Sub Vets will be on hand to give tours of the USS Batfish.

From 10 am – 11:00 a.m the USS Batfish will be open for free Admission.

The USS Batfish will be closed from 11:00 am – 12:15 pm during the ceremony to honor all lost submarines.

Admission to the USS Batfish will resume at 12:30 pm.

Admission rates are:

      • $7 for Adults
      • $5 for 62+ and retired military
      • $5 for students (13+)
      • $4 for kids 7-13. (Kids under 7 are admitted free with an adult).
The Muskogee War Memorial Park is open: Wednesday – Saturday 10 am – 6 pm | Sunday 1 pm – 6 pm.
The Muskogee War Memorial Park is located at exit 33 off the Muskogee turnpike at 3500 Batfish Road.
